A2Z Rentals exists because needing a car and qualifying for finance are two different things — and the people stuck between them still have to get to work.
Owning a car got
complicated.
Buying one means a deposit, a credit check and years of payments on something losing value. Renting by the day is fine for a weekend and ruinous for a month. Between the two there was nothing sensible for someone who just needs a reliable car for a while.
So we built the version we'd want ourselves: one weekly payment, insurance and upkeep already handled, and the freedom to walk away with a month's notice. No finance, no ownership, no balloon payment at the end.

Say the price once
The weekly figure and the set-up fee are the whole deal. Anything that could cost you extra — excess kilometres, damage liability, infringements — is written down before you sign, not discovered later.
Keep the cars right
Every vehicle is serviced on schedule, warranted and registered. If something goes wrong mechanically it's ours to fix, and we'd rather hear about a noise early than deal with a breakdown later.
Judge the person, not the file
We don't run credit checks. We look at whether the payment is affordable and whether the car is going to a licensed driver — which is a different, fairer question.
Mostly people in
the in-between.
New to the country and without a local credit history. Between cars while one is in the panel shop. On a work contract that might move cities. Growing a family faster than the hatchback allows. Self-employed, with income that doesn't fit a lender's box.
They all have the same problem — a car is needed now, and the usual routes either say no or ask for a commitment that doesn't suit.
